Galaxea (Beijing) Artificial Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd., established in September 2023, is an AI company focused on fundamental models for embodied intelligence and the R&D of embodied intelligent robots.
We adhere to a development approach that integrates AI algorithms with robotic hardware. We define the robot's morphology based on technological boundaries and scenario requirements, design and manufacture the hardware independently, and achieve full-stack self-sufficiency from core modules, the embodied robot itself, data, end-to-end foundational models, to scenario-specific solutions. Through each generation of embodied intelligence products, we explore the Scaling Law for embodied intelligence, aiming for the vast expanse of general-purpose embodied intelligence.
Galaxea is the only embodied intelligence startup in China that simultaneously boasts two world-class embodied intelligence algorithm scientists who also serve as assistant professors at Tsinghua University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS). This gives the company access to cutting-edge technical understanding and innovation capabilities in perception, mobility, and manipulation within the field of embodied intelligence. Furthermore, the company maintains close ties with top global scientists and entrepreneurial teams, providing invaluable global perspectives for its strategic direction.
